Last Minute Show @ Mulligan’s – Jan. 14 posted by on January 14, 2013

The Soft Act has been added to a last minute show at Mulligan’s in Eastown to support a Philly band, Crybaby, Monday, January 14th. Madness will begin around 10. Plenty of time to get a few drinks in your gut and preliminary dances tested out.

In addition to that, a new 4-track tape, The Soft Act II, has been released in the past few weeks which you can listen to at our bandcamp. We’ll most likely have cassette tapes for sale at this show. See you then.

Through a smoky haze comes this little collection of dark, downtempo delights from the madman in rattan. We transcend the usual WB fare of drum machine and synthesizer to incorporate more organic offerings of guitar, ocarina, tambourine, and photo-theremin. You can read about it here: http://recoilmag.com/?p=1014 or download it for you own price here: http://wickerbasket.bandcamp.com/album/terra-cotta
